about

Post-humous release to celebrate the life of London poet, wanderer and artist Rob Prophet, who sadly passed away a week ago.

A man plagued by troubles but truly able to convey these emotions and make the world more beautiful through spoken word, bizarre collages and hand-typed diatribes on social decay, Rob would routinely wander across London in his melancholy returning with hordes of books and useless treasures to sell, keep or give away. A big fixture on the dwindling years of the North East London Squat and Anarchist scene, his gravelly voice and unmistakeable lyrical patter graced the tracks of many underground musician. Here is our offering.

He was a truly gifted poet, and a truly strange gift to the world.

Please share this work with your friends' hard drives, cdrs and mix-tapes, in an effort to create his own 'rumour' and continue his legacy.
